1- Comittment to Scripture
All aspects of management of Mercy Acts International (MAI) are based on biblical principles, acknowledging that the Bible is the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative word of God.
All scripture is given by the inspiration of God.
-II Timothy 3:16
2- Acts of Compassion
Driven by the scriptural mandate to serve, MAI provides humanitarian services for “the least of these” with a loving, caring attitude.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me… Whenever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.
-Matthew 25:35, 40
3- Integrity
MAI leaders and members live and serve in a manner that brings glory to God by exemplifying honesty, sincerity, and purity in motives as the leaders manage the organization.
In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, and sincerity.
-Titus 2:7
4- Stewardship
Stewardship – MAI will conduct all operations of God’s resources in a manner that is consistent with Biblical principles by exercising fiscal discipline, transparency and accountability.
Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.
-I Corinthians 4:2
5- Excellence
MAI strives to deliver the best quality in service and products to individuals in need.
That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ.
-Philippians 1:10
6- Love
Through its services, MAI seeks to bring faith, hope, and the love of God to individuals and families.
And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
-I Corinthians 13:13
